Medical detox, residential inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and sober living are all offered at Simonds, so you can move from one level to the next without leaving the program.
Detox comes first for anyone with alcohol, opioids or benzodiazepines in their system and runs four to seven days. Behavioral health technicians are on site 24 hours a day, nursing is available around the clock by telehealth for triage, an addiction psychiatrist oversees the medication plan, and you sleep in your own room. Once withdrawal is managed you move into the residential program. From residential, you can step down to PHP and then IOP while living in our sober living housing, which keeps clinical contact in place while you return to work and family. Drug and alcohol rehab that changes providers at every level loses people at the transitions; here each step is arranged before the last one ends.

Treatment at Simonds happens in a residence, not a clinic. The house has an outdoor pool, a fitness center, chef-prepared meals, private bedrooms and outdoor space for yoga and recreation in one of the quietest parts of the San Fernando Valley, with weekend outings built into the schedule. You keep your phone and laptop, so work and family stay reachable while you are here.
Luxury rehab centers vary widely in what the word means. Here it means 18 beds, real privacy and clinical staff who know every person in the house by name. It does not mean less medical care: behavioral health technicians are on site 24 hours a day, nursing is available around the clock by telehealth for triage, and psychiatric care is overseen by a board certified addiction psychiatrist.

What verification checks: whether your plan covers detox and residential care at our facility, your deductible and how much of it is already met this year, your out-of-pocket maximum, and whether prior authorization is required. Out-of-network plans often still cover a large share of residential drug and alcohol rehab; admissions will give you the figure for your plan before you decide. Nothing is billed until you choose to move forward.
